The "I'm A Loser" Campaign is a call to arms. Not the weapon kind, or the grow-out-of-the-side-of-your-body type, but the metaphorical appendages located somewhere between wrong and right, happy and sad, and up and down, that make us who we are.
By saying “I’m A Loser,” you are recognizing that all arms are different- some are mangled and some are smooth; some this, some that; some pink or blue or tattooed or unsure of whether they are arms at all. But you’re also saying, “Hey, I’ve got these arms and you’ve got those and that’s just fantastic news for everyone involved.”
Everyone has felt they’ve said the wrong thing at the wrong time, or loved someone they shouldn’t have, or gotten into an unbearable situation.
But we’ve also all laughed, smiled, felt a friendly touch, and lived a while in this world, and if you haven’t yet or aren’t now, you have the right to.
“I’m a Loser” means seeing
“I’m a Loser” means seeing others
"I’m a Loser” means recognizing differences
“I’m a Loser” means celebrating those differences- by ignoring them
Because hey, you may be gay, straight, dark, light, boy or girl or undecided or unaffiliated...
But first and foremost, we’re all LOSERS!
